Garden Bluff Cemetery is a beautiful, tranquil place. My Grand Parents, Great Grand Parents and a Great Uncle rest here close to the entrance. What a perfect place to rest for eternity. Would like to know who the caretaker is to ask questions. Wish they posed this information.

Many of my Gardner ancestors are buried in this cemetery and this was the location for many Gardner reunion picnics held every Memorial Day, according to my grandfather. The reunions don't happen anymore -- I guess no one likes to gather at cemeteries to remember people who are gone. In 2012, my sister, her husband and I met our cousin at the cemetery for an informal reunion. Our thanks to whoever is maintaining this lovely cemetery -- it looked great!
This cemetery is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. The sign is set back and between two arborvitae trees, so it's tricky to see. This cemetery is on a hill overlooking farmland. Great views. Nice mature trees.
A hike up to Gibraltar Rock afterward is well worth the spectacular views!Added October 19, 2016 by Simon Legare
